"Adam and Eve are a set of digital prints, inspired by John Milton's epic poem 'Paradise Lost'. The poem narrates the biblical story of the Adam and Eve, and the forbidden fruit. The story fascinates me greatly, as a version of this can be found in all of the major religions and it marks the starting point of man's life on earth. The visuals represent the biblical story using elements of the narrative like the ever-watchful eye, the forbidden fruit, the snake and the fire representing God's wrath.
The layering of the elements is in such a way that one needs to see it again and again to fully see the detail. My work is a combination of various elements created in bold shapes, put together to create one visual and that is evident in these two pieces."
